Dianthus is a flowering plant in the family Caryophyllaceae, native mainly to Europe and Asia, with a few species extending South to North Africa. Common names include Carnation, Pink and Sweet William.

It made sense to use the name Sweet William, it speaks to the colour of the sparkling wine as well as the taste.

This led to the idea to eco the flowers petals if you look at the bottle from the top, but still creating a beautiful pattern when looking at it from the side. With subtle hints to the flower in the border of the main label.
