Sonneblom Films was founded in 1973, but their approach is very 21st century. A new brand identity was requested; unique, friendly, positive. Founder Katinka Heyns named the company after her father’s favourite painting by Vincent van Gogh (‘sonneblom’ is Afrikaans for sunflower). And so the logo happily fell into place. The bright yellow holding shape communicates warmth and fun; the two Ls aligned as if they were always meant to.
